What is a shower bomb? Well firstly it is not to be confused with a shower steamer as you place those on the floor of your shower.  A Shower Bomb is held under the shower water to activate to create a creamy lather and then is smothered all over your body. Shower bombs leave your skin silky soft and smelling amazing. Single use.

Recipe - Makes 26 x 40g shower bombs

625g Bicarb

325g Citric

50g Jelly Bomb Powder

20g SLSa

20g Potato Starch

15mls Fragrance Oil Of Your Choice

10mls Sweet Almond Oil

5mls Polysorbate 80

1tsp Lakes Colour Of Your Choice

1 x 42mm Stainless Steel Mould

For best results grind citric acid in a food processor and then sieve with all dry ingredients into a large bowl making sure there are no lumps.

Mix wet ingredients: 10mls Sweet Almond Oil and 15mls fragrance oil 5 mls Polysorbate 80 in a small glass and mix well, then add to your dry ingredients.  It is important that you add the correct amount of liquid so the mix is not too wet, or too dry and holds together, when squeezed, like damp sand. If you find your mix too dry, spray with witch hazel

Add Lakes colourant to your mix. Fill each side of your mould with mix until overflowing, press firmly an now releast, Allow too dry for at least 24-48 hours until your shower bombs are solid.
